Few are unfamiliar with Kim Kardashian's chic style, beauty, and taste in picking outfits that give her a picture-perfect presence. So what if we told you that one of her standout picks from 2021 was this knitted dress from Indian designer Namita Khade's label? A Central Saint Martins student Namita Khade made a muted, sand-coloured, form-fitting midi dress, with cutout details at multiple places, a plunging neckline with a halter neck, and an asymmetrical hemline. The outfit even featured delicate pearl embellishments.
Namita Khade in an interview with a reputed lifestyle publication said, 'It takes over 8 hours to gracefully assemble the hand-sewn dress. My design approach is rooted in curiosity and wanting to learn new techniques, this way I get to be experimental and let go of structured and constrained fashion design.'
This is not the only time that Kim had opted for Indian designers. Kim Kardashian is known to love Indian fashion. The reality star had appeared on the cover of Vogue India for the first time ever, in the March 2018 issue. In this issue, Kim wore several outfits by Indian designers such as Anita Dongre, Anamika Khanna, and Sabyasachi. She wore a red saree by Sabyasachi, and a gorgeous Anita Dongre lehenga.
