Yellow can be a tricky colour to pull off because of its bright shade and how it complements various skin tones. Pantsuits too, need a set fashion strategy if they need to look suave instead of frumpy. So when Mithila Palkar picked a yellow pantsuit to attend the Filmfare 2022 Awards, we think she wanted a challenge. The Bollywood actress chose a custom Rhea Pillai Rastogi creation to push the envelope on the awards night. While we've definitely seen our fair share of celebrity pantsuit styles in Bollywood, none were quite like Mithila's. Bright yellow in its tone with a satin sheen, the suit featured a flat lapel long sleeve blazer which buttoned at the waist and was cinched with a silver chain over the chest. Flared satin trousers in a matching shade were worn with it. Mithila carried a metallic purse in her hand and wore her hair in flippy waves with defined eye makeup. Full marks to Mithila Palkar for pushing the envelope and rocking the pantsuit while at it.
Seemingly a lover of bright shades and pop colours, Mithila once posed in a dress that combined orange and pink in one outfit and looked wonderful doing so. She didn't even shy away from the dramatic sleeves and added in pointed pumps to the look.
Even her bikinis are brighter than ever. On her summer holiday in Coney Island, USA, Mithila picked a colourful floral bikini and matching high waist bottoms with a printed cover-up worn across her shoulders.
