After all, it has been the all-time favourite colour for party looks, and Karisma seems to be on a mission to prove that there's really no better way to glam up than picking black.

The Bollywood actress was spotted on Tuesday evening at Saif Ali Khan's birthday bash, looking radiant as ever in a LBD. The fit and flare dress from RIXO had side panels with quirky prints of various planets that added instant spark to her look. She spruced it up further by teaming it with a pair of shiny green pumps and sported hot pink lips. Karisma's look proves that you can pick black yet stay with the colourpop trend with statement accessories and bold makeup.

Even during Manish Malhotra's Independence Day bash at his residence, Karisma showed us how to balance colourpop styles with classic black. The diva turned up for the party in a chic top with bright pink prints from Stella McCartney and let it steal all attention by keeping rest of her look subtle. She teamed it with a pair of black pants, black stilettos and a black Hermes clutch. Oh, and how can we miss out on those red hot lips?
