If that's not enough, you can hop on the Ice Flyer, a ski lift, or the Rotair Gondela, the world's first revolving cable car, to ride over the peaks.

Lavaux, the paradise for wine lovers
What better way to spend your holiday than lazily strolling through wide open vineyards with a bottle of one of the finest wines in the world? That's exactly what you can do at Lavaux, the largest vineyard region in Switzerland that is also a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2007. Walk through caveaux des vignerons (wine cellars) and take in the beauty of Lake Geneva as timeless villages float by you, putting you in a state of unbridled happiness. Over the fields you go, Tobogganing
Why long for a snowy Christmas, when you can make your way to Grindelwald, in Switzerland's Bernese Alps, for some intense tobogganing? Stretching 15 kilometres long and a vertical drop of 1,600 metres, Big Pintenfritz is the longest toboggan run in Europe. Preparing yourself for it is easy, as all you have to do is prop your body on wooden sledges and let go of all your inhibitions. You will find gravity taking over while you zip down snow-white landscapes, and feel the icy winds pinch your cheeks to a pink glow.

Glacier Bungee Jumping
This is definitely not for the faint heart. While we all know that bungee jumping requires guts, lots and lots of it, you need twice as more when it comes to carrying out the adventure sport over a glacier. Just the thought of the icy cold water beneath is enough to send chills down one's spine. Grindelwald glacial gorge is a popular spot for Glacier Bungee Jumping, which is at a height of 85 metres. So braven up and give it a go.
