1. New Delhi

2. Ahmedabad

Owing to Mahatma Gandhi's native region, Ahmedabad too had a significant role during the freedom movement. Pay homage to the legend by visiting the Sabarmati Ashram which is near Ahmedabad city where national movements like the Civil Disobedience Movement, Non-Violence Movement, and Swadeshi Movement took place.

3. Amritsar

Amritsar in Punjab is of immense historical significance. We have all known about the Jallianwala Bagh and the Wagah border which witnessed gruesome incidents during the freedom struggle. It was used to keep political prisoners during the freedom struggle. The jail has been transformed into a museum and is open to the general public.

7. Bangira

Rani of Jhansi or Rani Laxmi Bai was a prominent leader during India's war of independence. The Jhansi Fort is located at Bangira Hill in Uttar Pradesh and gives a view of the entire city.
