Bhumi Pednekar has switched her workcation mode on and for that, she was seen basking under the Jaipur sun at the City Palace. Bhumi took to her Instagram Stories and shared a sun-kissed picture of herself from the majestic property. In the click, the actress can be seen lounging on the balcony of the City Palace, with an aerial view of the city in the background. It truly means to live life king size when visiting the palace but even more luxurious when you get to stay there too. Although Bhumi is a friend of the royal family and is often invited for gatherings and festivals at the property, an exclusive experience can be yours too. In 2019, Airbnb listed the Gudliya Suite of the City Palace for travellers to experience Indian hospitality and culture at its finest. Living like a royal though, comes at a price and that is a whopping $8,000 or Rs 6,67,305 for a one-night accommodation.

History
The City Palace was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur. Covering nearly one-seventh of the area of the Old City, the City Palace is fortified by massive walls and remains the residence of the royal family of Jaipur led by Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh.
Things to do in the City Palace
Replete with Mughal architectural elements, the complex of the palace includes the Mubarak Mahal (the palace of reception) and the Maharani's Palace (the palace of the queen). In addition to enjoying your royal stay, you can also visit the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum.
It must be noted that the Mubarak Mahal has now been transformed into a museum that displays a unique collection of royal costumes. The fabrics that you can get to witness are delicate Pashmina (Kashmiri) shawls, Banaras silk sarees, and other dresses with Sanganeri prints and folk embroidery. In addition, Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh I's ensembles are also on display in the museum.
