2. Visit Eravikulam National Park

It has the highest surviving population of the Nilgiri Tahr. There have been recent reports of a new species of a frog being found in this National Park that is reddish-orange, has tiny legs, and has multiple glands. This park is open for visitors from 8am to 4pm every day with an exception in the timings being 8:30am to 4pm on Saturdays. The best time to visit this park, however, is right after the peak monsoon season around August - September.

This adventure park in Munnar has got all your adrenaline junkies covered! Located just a 3-minute ride from the main town of Munnar, this park is located amidst a dense forest and at an altitude of 3600 feet above sea level. This elevation brings about a whole other exciting part of the park which is the scenery and viewpoints. There are numerous waterfalls scattered all over the park which pave the way for water rappelling, valley crossing, ziplining, rock climbing, and more. There are activities like ATV rides, Jeep Safaris, buggy rides, rope activities, and activities alike. The park is open throughout the week from 6 am to 5:30 pm.
