On Earth Day 2020, Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor wished her fans with a throwback picture from her earlier travel that no doubt instantly ignited wanderlust. Standing tall on a pile of rocks by a river and with a stunning backdrop of lush hills, her post did a great job in reminding us just how beautiful the world really is. She wrote on the story, "everyday is Earth Day" and "stand for what you stand on" to further draw attention to the fact that it's time we started taking care of mother earth. Janhvi Kapoor's Instagram story came as a treat to lift the spirits and like a true big sister, she also took this as an opportunity to take a dig on younger sister Khushi, who can be seen "struggling to climb the rocks" behind Janhvi.
Now being homebound due to the Covid-19 lockdown, most of us have been making do with our travel pictures from the past and hoping for better days soon. Janhvi Kapoor's #tbt has got us wishing we were somewhere in the hills, surrounded by beauty. This picture is from Janhvi's photo album from last summer, when she and her girl gang took a trip to the hills to beat the heat. She had shared a few posts of her fun time with family as they spent their time walking around and enjoying the gorgeous view.
In fact, right after this trip Janhvi had immediately shared a picture of the hills with the caption, "Missing." Isn't that all of us when we get back from a perfect vacation?
There's no doubt that Janhvi Kapoor loves to travel. There are multiple posts on her social media handle that stand as proof to her gorgeous trips. One such is her posts from New York, which seems to be one of her favourite travel destinations. In a post, she had written, "New York, I love you."
The ghats of Banaras attracts tourists from near and far. Janhvi Kapoor too made a trip to this temple city in the banks of the river Ganges last December with her school friends.
Last November, Janhvi Kapoor was seen visiting the Golden Temple in Amritsar.
Last August, Janhvi took a trip to South India and shared pretty pictures with her friends and relatives. She also visited the famous Tirupati or Tirumala Venkateswara Temple.
