Flaking skin, dry patches and peeling lips are some of the most common beauty problems not just in winter but other seasons too.
You can suffer from chapped lips because of various reasons other than cold, dry weather. In our beauty regime, we often forget to include lip care basics. So here are a few tips.
Many of us instinctively lick our lips when they feel dry but that's actually making it worse. Licking removes natural oils from the lips.
Don't Lick Them
Manually scrubbing your lips is a no-brainer to get rid of those dry flakes. Do that twice a week at home with a simple sugar scrub.
Exfoliate
Mix 1 tablespoon of white sugar in a bowl with 1 tablespoon honey. Use it to gently scrub your lips for about 3-4 minutes and then rinse.

Along with the rest of your night routine, make sure you don't forget your lips. Apply a thick layer of petroleum jelly or lip balm.
Moisturise Regularly
Oil isn't only a magic potion for your hair and skin, but your lips too. Oils like almond and coconut hydrate the lips naturally and enrich it with vitamins.
