After rumours swarming the internet about her romance, Aditi Rao Hydari has made it official. The actress shared a delightful post on Instagram, where she exclaimed the good news of her engagement to the world. In the picture, Aditi and her actor beau Siddharth posed for a picture together, while prominently showcasing their ring fingers and newly-acquired bling. She captioned the image as, "He said yes! E. N. G. A. G. E. D. ". In the Instagram snap of the engaged couple, Siddharth showed off his ring, which was a solid gold band with a red detail running through it horizontally. However, it was Aditi's engagement ring that we couldn't take our eyes off. Sitting pretty on her ring finger was a dual stone engagement ring which featured a round diamond on one side and a teardrop-shaped diamond on the other. Both placed on a gold band, they snugly met on the top of her finger.

Engagement rings, especially those worn by celebrities, have high potential to feature in the history books of iconic jewellery. In 2002, Ben Affleck proposed to Jennifer Lopez with a six-carat pink diamond ring from Harry Winston. When Machine Gun Kelly proposed to Megan Fox in 2022, he put a ring on her finger which featured both their birth stones. Like Aditi's, Megan's too had two stones that met in the centre.
