There are people who enjoy cooking and there are those who don't. Problem is, there are times when home deliveries and cup noodles just don't cut it. In such times, cooking comes in handy. Even if you swear off cooking, there are some extremely simple recipes which can work around this and definitely don't involve you slaving over a stove all day. Try these 4 recipes for yourself when a hunger pang strikes and only homemade food can satisfy it.
1. Chili Eggs
Think of this as an upgraded, spicy version of scrambled eggs. To make it, finely chop 2 small white onions, one green chili and a handful of dill. Then heat oil in a pan and break three eggs in it. Use a fork to whisk the eggs and while doing so, add in the chopped mixture, chili flakes and salt to taste. Once the eggs are cooked, serve hot with toast.
2. Banana Pudding
For this pudding, you won't even need to turn on any applicance. Make it by first crushing Marie biscuits into large chunks and spreading it over the base of a glass bowl. Cover the biscuit layer with vanilla flavoured yogurt. Over this, slice 2 - 3 bananas and place over the yogurt. Continue to layer with biscuit, yogurt and banana until the bowl is filled. Freeze for 6 hours minimum and serve chilled.
3. Caprese Salad
Possibly one of the simplest salads to make, it's also extremely delicious. To make it, slice 50 grams of mozzarella cheese and keep aside. Chop 3 tomatoes into large slices. In a bowl, assemble the cheese and tomatoes with basil leaves and garnish with salt, pepper and a drizzle of olive oil. Toss the ingredients in the mixture and serve fresh.
4. Cheese capsicum sandwich

This seemingly strange combination works well to balance each other out. Apply butter to two slices of bread and keep aside. Remove the seeds of a capsicum and slice it into large, thin slices. Shred cheese and toss it in a bit of butter and pepper. Now layer the inside of the sandwich with the capsicum and cheese. Add more pepper if needed. Close the sandwich, toast for five minutes and serve hot.
