More than a month after giving birth to her second son, the fashion entrepreneur is back on her fitness routine. The South African model has treated us to her workout journey, beginning with her being 40 weeks pregnant to one month after giving birth. Honestly, the results can make you think that she was never pregnant. On July 20, Gabriella welcomed her baby boy, with her boyfriend Arjun Rampal. Gabriella has now dropped a series of pictures, where she gave us a glance at her physique and penned down a detailed note elaborating on the strength it took her to start “off her post-baby recovery”. The mirror selfies speak a thousand words about her transformation. In the last click, where she is 40 weeks pregnant, one can see the baby bump, the first picture shows her near flat tummy at 1 month pregnant which we assume is what she is using as inspiration for her to get back into shape.
In the caption, she revealed that a postpartum workout felt like she was starting from scratch, which felt demotivating. "From the first couple weeks to 40 weeks… starting off my post-baby recovery and it feels like I'm starting from the beginning which can be very demotivating.” She compared it with “climbing a small mountain.” However, she claimed that a little “self-love” with your body will align with you to achieve your goals. Gabriella Demetriades added, “Kinda like climbing a small mountain with some extra kilos on your back!! But honestly, nothing makes me happier than working out and those endorphins save my life (and others) so here is my rather long Monday message, get up and get that movement in, it's the best thing you can do for your mind and body. And have a little patience and self-love with that body of yours, it's listening and will respond to what it's fed.”
Ahead of her delivery, Gabriella Demetriades dropped a video wherein she was seen abiding by her rigorous fitness regime. The throwback video showed her incorporating versatility into her routine. From balancing on the birth ball and sit-ups with the dumbbells to running on the treadmill, Gabriella was seen doing it all.
