We've heard it all before. Our bodies require water for normal healthy functioning, clear skin, high energy and lots more. Approximately 60 percent of our bodies are water and thus, it's needed to stay hydrated and operate smoothly. But ask yourself, are you actually drinking enough water? In all likelihood, no. Many dislike the taste (or the lack of it) of water and just can't seem to chug it down. However, whether or not you like water, it's still important to drink it. If you aren't getting enough water intake on a daily basis (that's approximately 2 litres, according to Health Line), here's how actually drink more of it.

1. Bottle It
Regardless of where you are headed; to work, the mall or the park, make sure you do not leave the house without a full reusable bottle of water. Having a bottle by your side can remind you to drink through the day rather than forgetting throughout and only remembering when you're parched.
2. Infuse It
If the tastelessness of water is what puts you off this miraculous drink, then infusion is a simple way to fix it. Purchase an infused water bottle which allows you to mix all kinds of fruits and vegetables in it for their flavours to mingle. With it, you'll get a tinge of fruity flavour and water won't seem so tasteless after all.
3. Schedule It
Relying on the fact that you'll drink when you remember doesn't work. More often than not, you won't always remember to take your next sip. Schedule your water drinking breaks during the day for example, when you go to the bathroom or get up from your desk. Make it a point to take a few chugs, which will cover your water quota quickly.
4. Measure It
Comments
Since we rely on our phones for almost every reminder today, why not for water. Many apps like Daily Water Free exist which track your daily intake of water and even send you reminders to drink up. Now that's a great way to use technology for the benefit of your health.
