Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed are new parents to a bouncing baby boy. The Hollywood actress took to Instagram to share a glimpse into her birth story. A photo of herself and the new addition to the family, Nikki wrote, "A few weeks ago we welcomed our son on what can only be described as the most beautiful days of my life. Born at home in water and surrounded by so much of love in an instant my heart doubled in size." The new mom went on to appreciate her followers for respecting her boundaries and the privacy of her family while thanking her midwife and doctor for making her home water birth take place smoothly. A water birth, like Nikki had at home, involves the labour and/or delivery process taking place while immersed in shallow water, which is believed to greatly benefit delivery pains. This is Nikki and Ian's second child; they welcomed their daughter Bodhi in 2017.

While pregnant, Nikki dropped a picture wherein she was seen relaxing on horseback. The actress highlighted her baby bump, as she wore Ozma's neutral brown colour bralette and paired it with ripped jeans. She carried her baggy jeans in a button-down style. But what turned out to be the showstopper was her ivory cowboy hat, from the shelves of Lack of Colour.
For one of her outings, Nikki was seen highlighting her baby bump yet again. The Twilight actress wore this cocoa colour bodysuit from the shelves of Bumpsuit. The actress styled the look by pairing it with an oversized grey shrug and a wide-brim ivory hat. Leaving her hair open, she opted for tan boots.

Reed was seen posing with her five-year-old daughter Bodhi in her arms while wearing a sleeveless tan dress. The floor-length outfit featured a body-fitted silhouette. Her ivory wide-brim cowboy hat added a touch of contrast to her look. This time she styled her hair in slinky braids.
