For the bride and the groom, the wedding day is a long day of celebrations, ceremonies and meeting new people. They must be at their best and feel their best and hence it is important for them to know what food to avoid and what to indulge in on the big day to stay comfortable all throughout. This preparation should begin for a week or a few days before the wedding. While most people go on a strict diet in the hope to lose weight, come the wedding week and it all goes for a toss as you get pampered with sweet treats and other delicious dishes that are served at the functions. Eating lots of fruits and vegetables helps to stay fresh and get all the vitamins and minerals one needs. These add to good skin and enhance the bridal glow. On the wedding day itself, fruits and dry fruits are an amazing and convenient way to keep oneself from getting hungry. For instance, bananas, almonds, and figs work fast to energise instantly. The bride and groom should drink fresh fruit juices instead of aerated bottled drinks as they contain a lot of artificial sugar.

3. Chia Seeds
Chia seeds are also a great supplement for healthy skin and energy, as they are high in omega 3 fatty acids, protein and fibre. The easiest way to load up on the nutrients from chia seeds is making a simple chia pudding with some skimmed milk or water.
