
If you aren't already familiar with Hollywood heartthrob Zac Efron, let me refresh your memory a bit. In the late 2000s, he was thrust into the limelight with the High School Musical franchise and became everyone's favourite boy next door with his lead role as Troy Bolton. From there, he's starred in plenty of romantic dramas and comedies like The Lucky One and Baywatch.
The common denominator between most of Zac's recent roles have been a flimsy excuse to take his shirt off and let fans drool over a shredded physique that looks like it took a few hundred hours in the gym. Whether he was grilling on the lawn in Neighbors or saving a seaside town from a drug menace in Baywatch, it's more than evident that Zac works very hard to look this good.
We finally got a peek at some of his dedication when Zac showed us a smoothie he whipped up in his hotel room in Australia. The actor is currently in Sydney to attend the premiere of his upcoming movie, The Greatest Showman.
Back in his hotel room, Zac made what calls his "pre-red carpet spark" smoothie, which, we assume, he downed before he hit the red carpet premiere. While talking through a selfie video taken on his Stranger Things covered phone, Zac starts his smoothie with a leafy green base using spinach and kale. To this, he added a dash of sweetness the natural way, with raspberries and blueberries.
Next, there's sliced avocado which he adds for its "healthy fats", followed by banana, which Zac chooses for its "potassium and fibre". For the liquid base of the Efron smoothie, the actor has used coconut water and almond milk. And to finish off, he couldn't quite resist chia seeds and some delicious Australian honey.
Step one of getting completely ripped bod like Zac Efron, check. Now all that's left is to work out like our lives depended on it.
