Pre-COVID-19, majority of Bollywood's workout choices includes celebrity Pilates classes or starry gyms stocked with every machine imaginable. Ever since the Coronavirus lockdown was enforced in March 2020, celebrities have been doing everything necessary to keep sweating it out. From Salman Khan to Katrina Kaif to Kareena Kapoor, online yoga instructors, home gyms and digital aerobic classes have managed to keep them on toes to maintain their fantastic physiques we get a glimpse of on the silver screen.
However, Kriti Kharbanda has always been one to do it differently. Though we barely see her getting pap'd to or from workout sojourns, that doesn't mean fitness isn't a priority for the Bollywood actress. While currently quarantined at home and cooking up deliciousness with Pulkit Samrat, she shared her favourite way to keep fit. Safe to say, it might just surprise you.
While starry exercise preferences lean towards yoga bends and cardio sessions, Kriti calls pole dancing her favourite way to keep fit. In a video shared on her Instagram profile which seems to have been previously shot, she deftly twirls around a pole with hair swishing around and toes giving an artistic point. As pole dancing involves much of the lower body and sometimes all of it entirely, it can work muscles in the thighs, calves and core.
Earlier in the month, Kriti shared another video of herself pole dancing in a black sports bra and shorts. One thing she says she regrets is not installing a pole at home to enable her to workout at home, which she says is on her to-do list post the lockdown.Comments
