When Vidya Malavade is not busy with her work commitments, she manages to set the bar high with her fitness game. A hard-core gym enthusiast and yoga expert, the actress motivates us to lead a healthy lifestyle. Recently, she offered her Instagram family a sneak peek into her yoga session. The asana she tried was the Baby Crow Pose, a type of balancing act that puts pressure on the abdominal region and pelvic area. She displayed how the pose was to be conducted, impressing us with her extraordinary balance. Dressed in a pink athleisure, Vidya first rounded her upper back and placed her elbows firmly on the mat-laden floor. Next, she slowly lifted her folded legs in the air, her knees touching the back of her arms while balancing her core solely on her spread-out hands. The Crow yoga pose strengthens the arms, wrists, and upper back in addition to building and toning the core muscles.

Not long ago, Vidya Malavade taught her followers how to perform “Garudasana to Parshvabakasna” also known as the side crow pose. “(Protip for beginners - hook the elbow & upper arm in the hip socket of the lower leg (but don't let the shoulder droop down). It becomes like a kickstand and is easier to balance,” she captioned her post. She twisted her legs and lifted herself simply balancing on her hands. After the feat was done, Vidya was left visibly tired, underlying the difficulty level.
If you are deterred by the idea of executing slightly challenging yoga exercises, then allow Vidya Malavade to alleviate your fear. Earlier on another Instagram drop, the Chak De India actress bowled us over with her Vrschikasana. Also known as the Scorpion Pose, this yoga asana is considered to be one of the hardest. Vidya started the “Scorpion Dream” by spreading her arms on the grass and bending her legs in two opposite directions so that there remained enough space in between. She held the position for some time before stretching her body. Vrschikasana strengthens shoulders, arms, core, and back and also enhances flexibility.
