There are a lot of times that your house is full of things that we need to throw out. But they aren’t always things that should be thrown out. You may not know it that time but even the most useless of things can be recycled and put to come use. And let’s be honest here, the need of the hour is recycling and reuse - unless of course we are happy with the harm our environment faces. So in order to contribute your share towards the recycle revolution, here are some recycling hacks you can use around your house.
Plastic bottle tops
You know those plastic bottles you buy and then throw? How about instead of throwing them away you cut out the mouth of the bottle and use it to seal the open ends of many packages around the house by clenching the end and pushing it through the bottle cap.
Glass wine bottles
Old wine bottles can be used for s many things around the house. Not only can you keep water in it and store but also make some DIY lamps, plant holders, or decorative items out of them.
Small cardboard boxes
You know those boxes which you get your online orders from? How about wrapping them up in pretty handcrafted paper to make pretty reusable boxes. These can be then used to organise the contents of your drawers. Or maybe an in-tray.
Old hardcover books
...that you no longer read can be used as a wall shelf if you place it atop L shaped brackets. You can also redesign your wall with old tattered pages of a book.
Old broken teacups
...can be used as pots to set up tiny indoor plants. The planters can also be used in the lawn or a garden as decorative pieces.
