This the weekend again and we are back with a movie list for you! You may want to party on Friday and Saturday but we all know that Sunday in going to pass off vegetating in front of the laptop, in the company of our pets and some Netflix.
If we may say so, it has been quite a drawn out week. We were asking for the weekend vibes The moment we walked in on Monday, Speaking of work, someone here confessed that they haven't watched a movie that is almost holy when it comes to the comedy genre. And that, lads and ladies, is the first movie on our watch list this weekend.
Andaz Apna Apna
I know right? This woman hadn't watched Andaz Apna Apna! She doesn't know what place "Gogoji, aapka ghagra" holds in our lives! But you, revisit this one for the sheer happiness, joy, and the humour. And also for the trip down the 90s memory lane. What will we not do for Aamir Khan and Salman Khan to pair up in that way again! But oh well, I guess we will have to watch Amar & Prem and their shenanigans for
Hum Hain Raahi Pyaar
Speaking of revisiting childhood, another movie that will get you there is this one. Quite literally, because there are three kids in the movie for us to follow; their journey of getting their Rahul Mamu and their friend turned governess Vyjayanti is a ride to enjoy. It is an innocent tale of love, family, and friendship and bound to warm your heart.
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai
...tum nahi samjhoge Rahul. Ending the weekend with this classic sounds like a good plan - I mean how many of us don't remember each and every dialogue anyway? Rahul, Anjali, Tina, and then another Anjali's story has been etched in our hearts as much as in our memory. And that is why, it is an absolute must add to a 90's throwback list!
