1. Change In The Traditional Wedding Format
Couples are experimenting with the sequence of a traditional Hindu wedding format. For instance, many are hosting the sangeet post the weddings so that they can participate in the revelry. Additionally, they are favoring a pleasant, relaxed, and informal reception rather than a formal stage reception. The goal is to make every event special, interesting and stress-free. Sundowners are also big now, many of which serve as a hybrid mehendi-cum-sangeet.
2. Importance Of Stylists And Fashion
This year, the curation of fashion will play a crucial role in weddings. Couples will look for new and innovative ways to express their style through their wedding wardrobe and trousseau. Stylists will be an integral part in helping couples curate the perfect look for their special day. They are being brought on board to provide the best advice on what colors, fabrics, and silhouettes that are most flattering and would reflect the couple's personal style as well as coordinate the families' looks to the couple's.
3. Environmentally Conscious Weddings
Couples will be looking for ways to reduce their impact on the environment. This could include reducing the amount of food waste, using locally sourced ingredients, avoiding plastic and single-use items, using recyclable materials for decorations, and much more.

4. Hyper-Personalized Weddings
The idea of a wedding that is tailored to the individual couple and their personalities is becoming the norm. We can expect to see a rise in the number of couples who are opting for a unique and unconventional wedding. Couples are taking full advantage of the latest trends in decor, food, entertainment, and more. For example, they are choosing to include interactive activities such as escape rooms, photo booths, and carnival-style games to entertain. More ideas include the couple sharing a special dance, a themed photo booth, a live band or DJ playing music from the couple's favorite genre, a trivia game that focuses on the couple, a karaoke night, or a special performance from a local artist.
5. Use Of Technology To Elevate The Wedding
Technology will play a significant part in providing guests with immersive and customized experiences throughout the upcoming wedding season. To design unique wedding decorations, the bride and groom will have access to 3D printing technology. The wedding ceremony and celebration will be live streamed on social media, enabling friends and family to attend from anywhere in the world. To give guests an engaging and immersive experience, smart lighting and audio systems will be utilized. These days, holographic screens for sangeet and DJ nights, 3D wall banners, immersive experiences inspired by Van Gogh, and projection as well as mapping are in demand.

6. Destination Weddings Will Become Even More Popular
COVID-19 has seen Indian wedding trends transition rapidly. Whether it's inside the home country or traveling far to an exotic location, destination weddings will continue to boom in 2023.
