Sunday brunches are a good way to top off the weekend and also to socialise with all your friends at one place. There's no pressure of a party, it is far more chill a scene and it actually lets you relax and unwind with some of your close friends.

Keep the menu basic. If you are cooking, then prepare the basics like sauces, appetisers ingredients, and dips on Saturday night. Cocktails? Mimosas, sangria, or beer. The first two are things you can prepare a night before and keep them ready and stored, also giving the drink the time to cool. Beers can be bought a day before and stored. Keep the alcohol light. No one should get drunk. Happy buzz, that's more like brunch.
For the music go for soft yet peppy music such as acoustics, R&B, jazz, the likes. The kinda music you all would unwind to. It anyway has to be in the background, a part of the ambience.
Add some fun activities to the mix. Board games could be a part of the day of course, and maybe you can make the dessert together.
