1. Fermented Rice Water

"It's a beauty secret of the East - once you cook rice, don't toss the water," advises Aishwarya and continues, "Collect the water and store it for 2-3 days, which is when it becomes fermented. When you shampoo or cleanse your hair, use it for the final cleanse. Splash it on your skin in the morning. It's rich in nutrients and will aid in optimal skin health."

2. Besan And Honey Face Pack

"This simple face pack is inspired by my grandmother. Mix besan and honey together until it combines well. You can also add curd if you like. Use it immediately once you've mixed it. Besan alkalises the skin and honey is an excellent moisturiser. Leave it for 10-15 minutes before showering," says Aishwarya.

3. Mango Body Scrub

Aishwarya's homemade mango body scrub will add a tropical punch to any beauty routine. "To a few chopped pieces of mango pulp, add ghee and sugar in proportion. Mix well until it has a scrub-like consistency. Use directly to scrub your body effectively. Mango is rich in vitamin A which helps shed dead cells. Take a bit in your hand and use it to massage the body before you shower," recommends Aishwarya.
