On February 5th, leading artists from international music industry gathered for 65th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. And while they upped the fashion quotient with their striking style, we also witnessed some of them sporting incredible hairstyles, few of which were styled by celebrity hairstylists and Dyson Global Styling Ambassadors. Camila Cabello picked a pearl-encrusted bra with a black skirt and swishy waves to turn heads. Jazmine Sullivan wore a unique bubble braid with her white pantsuit and black corset. NDTV Swirlster got the down low from their hairstylists on how to achieve the hairstyles using the Dyson hair care product range.
Camila Cabello's tresses were styled by hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos. Dimitris Giannetos shared how he achieved the Camila's very modern and effortless hairstyle with lots of texture.
Step 1: I started by drying Camila's hair with the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer to protect from static.
Step 2: I added some tape in extensions from Great Lengths in 3 different shades in order to create some dimension and have more contrast. I razored the extensions for the perfect blend with her natural hair.
Step 3: Then I started bending her hair with the Dyson Corrale hair straightener. It let me create exactly the texture I want. I sprayed every section in order to hold the bend and add some extra texture.
Step 4: Lastly, I sprayed the hair with my favorite hair spray Elnett by L'Oreal, which has a strong hold without making the hair sticky and heavy. It holds the look for the entire night of the Grammys and also protects hair from humidity on the red carpet.
Jazmine Sullivan's brilliant dual-style braid was styled by hairstylist Ashanti Lation. Ashanti Lation shared how she achieved Jazmine Sullivan's look.
Step 1: First, I co-washed the extensions and since we were pressed for time, I quickly blow-dried them using my Dyson Supersonic hair dryer professional edition at the highest speed and temperature setting. Only try this with quality extensions!
Step 2: After laying the frontal and slicking the sides, it was time to attach and style the 38" of hair for the ponytail. I used my Dyson Corrale hair straightener on 410-degree temperature to get the perfect super long sleek ponytail.
Step 3: To finish and add some drama, I decided to add a fishtail braid to the upper section.
Step 4: I then followed it with two bubble sections at the bottom of the length. There you have it!
