It's the Grammys morning and a morning that looks rather starry indeed. The red carpet of the 65th Annual Grammy Awards 2023, just like any other red carpet event in Hollywood, witnessed the biggest names of music come dressed in their glamorous best. The one artist that stuck out for us was rapper Cardi B. She made waves in a bright blue Gaurav Gupta couture gown in the designer's signature structured style. Cardi B's sculpted gown is fresh off the runway as seen at the recently held Couture Week In Paris from his collection Shunya. The gown with a structured veil extended from the statement shoulder is a celestial display of fashion. The cutout on the side flows right into an embellished skirt with a textured waistline extending right onto the skirt in a fluid form. The outfit is paired gorgeously with jewels from Messika Jewellery in the form of her statement diamond earrings, bracelet, and ring. The makeup included a dash of blue on the lids, contoured, and the 90s supermodel brown lip liner style topped with a clear gloss. The makeup paired with her sleek side-parted sleek low ponytail balanced this very 'haute' red carpet moment.

This is not the first time Cardi B has picked the designer's creation though. Cardi B has shown her loyalty to Gaurav Gupta in the past as seen in the music video for the hit song No Love (Remix). The brand's sculpted design element returns to a field of roses in a blush pink form complete with exaggerated shoulders, a plunging neckline, and a slit on the side.
Not only does this put the designer on the world stage, well and rightfully so among other names of fashion but also recognises Indian talent in a shift of trends to look to this part of the world for fashion inspiration. The designer has created many red-carpet moments in the past and with Cardi B on his side, we hope to see a lot more.
