Combination skin really doesn't have it easy. With zones spread over the face like different states in a country, and each needing its own care, even basic skin care routines can seem difficult.
Fortunately, multi-masking it set to turn that around. As multi-masking treats and nourishes specific areas of the face differently, it's perfect for combination skin. So here's how to try it.
Step 1 - Begin by identifying the zones of your face. The T-zone, which comprises of your forehead, nose and chin, is usually oily. The C-zone consists of your cheeks, temples and jawline and is usually dry. Specific areas like those around the nose and lips are extra dry. Once you've identified these sections, you will know how they need to be treated.
Step 2 - Now start by making a mask for the dry areas of your face. In a bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of curd with 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of sandalwood powder. Mix thoroughly and apply it over the dry areas of your C-zone.
Step 3 - To make a face pack for your oily T-zone area, mix together 1 tablespoon of gram flour with 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of turmeric. Combine the ingredients well and apply it over your oily T-zone.
Step 4 - For those extremely dry areas around the lips and nose, dab a few dots of coconut oil and massage it into the skin.
Step 5 - Let the various face masks air dry naturally for 40 minutes and then wash off with warm water.
Multi-masking will nourish dry skin and balance oily areas. So try it for your combination skin!
