This Celebrity Makeup Artist Tutorial Is Perfect For Your Next Work Video Call
Look professional for your next video call

The days of stepping into the office conference room or presenting in front of your work mates are set for the future. For now, it's all happening on video calls. Sleeping in a few extra minutes and not having to change out of your jammies are its great advantages but that doesn't mean you can switch on your video and turn up looking disheveled on video calls where your colleagues and bosses will be. Simply tying your hair neatly and keeping facial hair in check can do a world of good. To take it further for those super important video calls, there's also a makeup tutorial you can follow. Celebrity makeup artist Agrika Kalra gives us a step-by-step demonstration of the right makeup look for video conferences at work.

Step 1 - Start by priming the eye area with foundation to neutralise any darkness and blend with your fingers if needed. Use a matte dark brown shade over the crease area. Use a matte lighter brown shade that's close to the natural skin colour and apply over the lid while blending the edges into the darker colour. Apply a matte white highlighter colour over the brow bone.

Step 2 - Use a black kajal pencil and make small strokes of it on the upper lash line. Follow this by smudging it with a narrow brush. This lends a natural lined look that isn't OTT.

Step 3 - Post moisturising, apply foundation to your face that's a shade which matches your skin tone. Apply over the face and neck then blend out thoroughly with a sponge or brush. Less is more, especially in a professional setting so ensure your finish looks natural and not cakey.

Step 4 - Apply a cream concealer that's a shade lighter on the under eye area, nose bridge, chin and centre of the forehead to highlight it. Contour the cheeks, forehead and jawline with matte bronzer. Blend both out and set with powder products. Set the highlighted area with setting powder.

Step 5 - Apply a dab of blush on the centre points of your cheeks. Fill in bare spots of the brows with a brow pencil. Apply a single coat of mascara.

Step 6 - Apply a neutral shade of lipstick in peach or mauve tones to finish it off.
