Since nothing says Durga Puja quite like a set of deep eyes and fiery red lips, we've got just the look for you to try. This festive season, put your best foot forward with this makeup look for Durga Puja.
Step 1 - Apply a thin layer of moisturiser all over your face and neck. Once it has absorbed into your skin completely, apply a layer of primer over your face, neck and eye area with your fingertips.
Step 2 - Move on to your eyes. In the crease of your eyelid, apply a matte brown shade of eyeshadow and blend it in well. Over the centre of your eyelid, dab a shimmery gold shade. Use a fluffy shadow brush to blend the gold shade into the dark brown shade of the crease.
Step 3 - Use a liquid eyeliner to cleanly line the at the upper lash line with a gentle upwards flick at the outer end.
Step 4 - Next, go in with a pigmented kajal and apply it completely on the lower waterline and slightly onto the lower lash line as well. Then use an eyelash curler to curl your lashes and apply mascara over them.
Step 5 - Use a dark brown pencil to fill in the bare spots of your eyebrows and use a spoolie brush to blend it in.
Step 6 - Use a tissue to dust away any shadow fall out on the cheeks and move onto the face. Apply concealer directly under your eyes in an inverted triangle shape and use a damp sponge to blend it in.
Step 7 - Dot your matching shade of liquid foundation all over your face and neck and then use a buffing brush to blend it into your skin well.
Step 8 - On the apples of your cheeks, use a fluffy brush to apply a bronze toned blush and blend it outwards to the temples.
Step 9 - With a fan brush, apply a gold toned powder highlighter over the bridge of your nose, inner corners of your eyes and highest points of your cheekbones.
Step 10 - Add the finishing touch with a deep toned matte red lipstick over your lips.
Step 11 - Finally, set the makeup look with a final dusting of translucent powder all over your face.
