As FDCI India Couture Week 2024 reached its fifth day, fashion's parade continued and it was ace designer Rahul Mishra who showcased his magic on the ramp. He represented his new collection Nargis that was all about blending his signature elements with a dash of bling. From fruits to flowers and birds, the embellishments and embroidery in the Nargis collection highlight Rahul Mishra's love for nature. The collection featured vibrant hues, sequin work, aari threadwork, bugle beads, kundan, nakshi pitta work and more. Actress Lisa Ray made sure to do all the justice to the collection as she owned the ramp in an exquisite number. She slipped into a delicate ivory and gold-toned saree gown that came with gold-toned floral embellished appliqués. Paired with a corseted bodice blouse, the look was a solid ten. She went for a sleek beauty look with a neat ponytail adorned with red roses and her dewy glam was perfect to complete the attire.

Before showcasing Nargis at the prestigious event, Rahul Mishra shared a post on Instagram on his latest collection. In the first shot, an artist can be seen working on a fully-embroidered sleeveless piece. The next video showed floral embroidery being done on georgette fabric. A black sequin-studded outfit and a few other pieces featuring floral designs were also highlighted.
Not too long ago, Emily In Paris star Ashley Park attended Vogue World Paris event in a Rahul Mishra short dress. The little number was selected from the designer's Couture Fall 2023 collection, “We, The People.” The La Lune enveloped corset dress made Ashley look gorgeous. The structured sheer number was crafted to resemble a flower, adorned with glistening silver accents for added sparkle. Its strapless design, combined with a plunging V-neckline, exuded unmatchable drama.
Ashley Park was not the only one who appeared in a Rahul Mishra creation at Vogue World Paris. Preity Zinta also said yes to the designer's ombre gown for the same event. The strapless ensemble featured shades of silver, gold, brown, orange, black and lime. The body-hugging fit made it eye-catching. Preity looked sophisticated and elegant with minimal makeup and open hair.
