Meet Sahib Singh, Burberry Children's AW '22 Adorably Chic New Sikh Model

Representation is key and Burberry didn't just understand the assignment but aced it brilliantly too. Thanks to Burberry, India sits comfortably on the fashion map of the world. And it took a very young Sahib Singh to achieve that goal. Burberry Children's Autumn-Winter '22 collection was revealed recently and they won the internet simply by their choice to cast four-year-old Birtish-Punjabi based Sahib Singh making Burberry Children's first Sikh model. Sahib was seen wearing a plain black patka, the turban worn by young boys in the Sikh community along with the brand's signature beige tone worn in the form of a puffer jacket with teddy bear designs on it, over a beige cardigan, shorts and white high ankle sneakers. We're not surprised to this young cutie making the rounds over the internet. Just look at him! Adorably dapper, we say.

A giant teddy bear at the back and many more on your clothes, you simply can't miss but have a little fun.

This isn't the first that Burberry has represented the South Asian community in all its fanfare. In 2013, Neelam Kaur Gill, yet another British-Punjabi origin model became the first Indian model to become the face for Burberry. The world took notice of her when she walked the ramp and subsequently featured in many ad campaigns for the brand. It was just a start for her because from then on, she has gone on to be the face and walk the ramp for many designer houses like Fendi, Balmain and so on.
