Mouni Roy Redefines Vintage Style With An Ethnic Spin In A Beautiful Black Saree

Sarees never go out of style, and Mouni Roy proves it time and again. The actress has now played muse to fashion label Anuki's latest collection. She draped herself in a stunning black saree that came intricately embroidered with a single floral pattern in a contrasting white hue. Similar flower adornments, but in the black colour palette, were seen on the long trailing pallu as well. Shimmery beaded piping along the borders served an extra dose of edge. Mouni teamed the six-yard spectacle with a black halter-neck blouse. Sequinned designs outlining the floral elements delivered an extra dose of glam. Complementing her ethnic OOTD were the pearl jewels. Her clean girl beauty aesthetic was right on point with tinted cheeks and minimal makeup.

Before that, Mouni Roy rested her faith on an Anuki saree creation. This time it was a white saree-torial moment that left us spellbound. The sheer silhouette weaved “tradition and timeless elegance”, offering a vintage glam vibe. Scalloped borders in a striking golden hue added a pop of colour to the monochromatic number. Mouni put on a noodle-strap golden blouse, featuring abstract prints all over. 

On another page of her saree diaries, Mouni Roy picked out a basic black drape, decorated with metallic gold borders. Even without any embroidery or prints, the saree stood out because of its minimal elegance. A sleeveless black blouse consisting of a sweetheart neckline rounded off Mouni's look. For makeup, she opted for a dewy base with blushed cheeks, nude lips and muted smokey eyes.
