With the year that 2020 was, the Oscars 2021 has been one of the most awaited events of the year. The style quotient of the event however, has been nothing less of glamourous though and we couldn't be happier. Many Hollywood Oscars regulars - Amanda Seyfried, Margot Robbie, Halle Berry and Regina King among others, graced the red carpet in impeccable style. Dreamy chiffons, statement golds and bright hues ruled the red carpet this year that made this starry affair worthwhile, even among the COVID-19 pandemic that has struck the world. We roundup some of the best looks of the night that made us forget about the global crisis, if only temporarily, and hold a special place in our look books.

Halle Berry made quite the entrance as she always does, in an edgy new haircut and a flowy custom-made Dolce Gabbana gown. The sweetheart neckline and the flowy chiffon silhouette of the gown were made for the Oscars night.
We absolutely cannot get over Zendaya on the red carpet and her gorgeous Maison Valentino cutout gown. Her sunshine yellow gown is everything summer dreams are made of and she paired it beautifully with her sparkly Bulgari jewels.
Dramatic has an all new meaning now that we have seen Amanda Seyfried in her gorgeous Armani gown. She looked ravishing as can be in her red tulle dress that was bound to make a statement-worthy entry this year on the red carpet.
Margot Robbie ditched her long trains and fancy tulle for a streamlined Chanel number that was minimal chic at its finest and she perfectly teamed it with a messy low ponytail.
Regina King was a vision in her custom-made Louis Vuitton in a luminous powder blue number with statement sleeves, a plunging neckline and sparkly stripes encrusted with crystals. Regina King ensured she added Forever Mark jewels for that stunning splendour.
We're not surprised to see Vanessa Kirby dressed in her impressive best in a custom-made pale pink Gucci number that featured a box pleated train that added drama to her strapless gown.
While we saw many in gorgeous summer hues, is it even the Oscars red carpet if not in glistening gold numbers? Not one but two red carpet golden looks we absolutely couldn't stop gushing over were of Andra Day and Carey Mulligan's that was fit for the occasion. Andra Day picked a liquid gold Vera Wang number with midriff cutouts perfect for the season. Carey Mulligan picked a golden co-ord set by Maison Valentino which was intricately embellished with sequins that made this a fitting entry in our look books for this year's red carpet.
However we missed many of our favourites this time - Priyanka Chopra, Meryl Streep among others who are Oscars' regulars and gave this one a miss!
