His recent IPL disappointment has seen a lot of media attention but in a move to, perhaps, put all of that well behind him, the former Indian captain took to this social media to proudly display his Santos de Cartier Green Dial wristwatch, priced on the brand's website at ₹7,95,000. What's unique about the watch is its steel crown set with a green faceted synthetic spinel, green dial and Hindi numbers. Its steel sword-shaped hands have luminescent material and sapphire crystal. The bottle green theme extends to the straps in an organic way with the first strap in rubber, and the second strap in green alligator leather. That's right, crystals and alligator leather, now those are good reasons to flash a watch on social media if you ever needed some.
Virat's cheerful image was paired with a characteristically simple but approachable caption, “Ola Santos.” Set against the backdrop of his conspicuous, high-fashion sporting wrist was Virat's humbler steel grey, collared t-shirt. To complete the look of tasteful elegance that the star cricketer has come to be known for, Virat had a neatly-trimmed beard and wore his hair combed back.
