Dressing up for the red carpet is serious business and Zendaya is the reigning chief of this art. For one of her most anticipated movies of the year, Spider Man: No Way Home, Zendaya looked like a million bucks on the red carpet dressed in a custom Maison Valentino gown. True to the theme of this superhero film, Zendaya spun her own stylish tale in a gown inspired by the film. You guessed it right; Zendaya's dress featured embroidered cobwebs in black sequins on the beige coloured dress. The cobweb design wasn't the only statement-worthy feature of the dress though. The dress also had a daring slit on the side and a plunging v-neckline grazing to the midriff attached to two straps on the shoulder. Her custom made Christian Louboutin So Kate heels and an intricately designed eye mask were the perfect finishing touches to her look. And mustn't we forget her twinkling yet subtle Bulgari drop earrings!
Just when you thought that was enough drama for the night, Zendaya pulled another trick with her hairstyle which was tied in cornrows and a sleek set of graphic eyeliner design on the eyes for the makeup.
Zendaya has been making very clever fashion choices leading up to the release of her latest superhero flick. The Ballon d'Or may be a prestigious sports award ceremony but nothing Zendaya can't choose to spice it up for. What seemed like a simple black dress with no surprises thrilled us when she turned around. The genius Roberto Cavalli dress had a backless feature with gold-detailing that resembled a spinal cord. The jewellery detail at the back is a reference to Doctor Octopus from the Spiderman universe which she has a proud association with.
Beau Tom Holland kept it sleek and unlike his character with secrets, there are no secrets here that he may just be the most stylish man of the moment.
If Zendaya isn't the red carpet slayer of our times then who is?
