Remember Kumail Nanjiani? The Pakistani-born American comedian and actor has come to be known for his work in Silicon Valley and later, his breakout role in 2017's The Big Sick, which he co-wrote with his wife Emily V. Gordon. Since then, Kumail has become a global star by voicing the adorable Pawny in Men In Black: International and being cast in The Eternals from the Marvel cinematic universe alongside Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Kit Harrington and more. But his name made worldwide trends on Tuesday for another reason altogether.
On Tuesday, the actor posted a shirtless picture on Instagram showcasing his brand new body transformation with an absolutely ripped physique. Apart from the jaw-dropping reactions, celebrity appreciation from Hollywood and thirst tweets it got, it was Kumail's refreshing caption that really clicked. He attributed his physique to a "full year with the best trainers and nutritionists paid for by the biggest studio in the world" which made him "understand true physical pain for months and months."
It's eye-opening to learn that no matter how simple celebrity body transformations may look from the outside, the tremendous amount of commitment, resources, money and time it takes to look like what you see on screen is unparalleled.
Feast your eyes on Kumail Nanjiani's new look and his caption that won hearts.
