International Yoga Day is celebrated all across the globe on the 21st of June. For those who are unfamiliar with what Yoga actually is, Yoga is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines which are meant to align the mind, body, and soul. While the roots of yoga have been found in ancient India, yoga is widely practised all over the world with a few changes and what could be considered upgrades. So who in B-town is all about Yoga? From Alia Bhatt to Shilpa Shetty, here is our shortlist of celebrities who incorporate this ancient practice into their workouts and post regular updates about their related fitness goals on social media. We explore their reasons for pursuing the exercise in preparation for the day that celebrates this ancient practice.
Shilpa Shetty is established as one of the fittest actresses in the county. She often shares key moments from yoga sessions and sets fitness goals for followers to map. This was also done under the supervision of my yoga teacher @eefa_shrof who was virtually with me through this session. I'm so glad I could continue my practice through my pregnancy."
