That's exactly what dance maestro and Bollywood's famous choreographer Remo D'Souza advises as he continues to inspire millions to get their dance mode on. Among the various workout formats, a popular pick is undoubtedly dance fitness with many styles to explore. In a collaboration with fitness platform Cure.fit, Remo D'Souza has been teaching audiences dance fitness routines across 3 popular styles - Bollywood, Street Style and Remo Special in a 4-part series that is a perfect mix of dance, fitness and entertainment.
We caught up with Remo D'Souza to learn about dance fitness and how it can be integrated in one's daily fitness routine.
1. What can we expect from 'Moves Like Remo'?
Remo D'Souza: "From this 4-part special with Cure.fit, audiences can experience the most fun way of getting fit. And as they are getting fitter, they can also enjoy and learn a bit of dance. It is entertainment, fun and fitness, all blended into one in these 50-minute energetic sessions."

2. What is the dance fitness format that you would be teaching?
Remo D'Souza: "It will cover Street Style, Bollywood and some of my special moves. However, I prefer to keep the way of teaching very simple. The formats are also simple in themselves because I want to make sure that anyone and everyone can do it. I believe anybody can dance and this is the simplest way of learning how to do it."
3. How easy or difficult is it to follow a regular dance fitness routine?
Remo D'Souza: "It is very easy to follow a dance fitness routine. Pairing workouts with popular music is best to make them much easier to do. So, as you enjoy the music, you can follow the dance moves and have fun while doing so."

4. What formats of dance should one adopt for fitness other than what's termed as 'aerobics'?
Remo D'Souza: "There is no exact format as such but you can dance 'dil se', as I always say. Dance your heart out. You do not need to get into heavy-duty aerobics. Just dance and sweat out. While aerobics works primarily on flexibility, Dance Fitness works on your entire body. It relaxes you, gives you peace, happiness, and a lot of mental clarity."
5. Any trendy dance formats that fitness enthusiasts could explore?
Remo D'Souza: "In my episodes I have introduced four different styles such as street style, Bollywood, moves from krumping, locking and so on. All of these are good for fitness, are different from regular aerobics and can be easily done."
6. How would you say dance helps in taking care of one's health and fitness?
Remo D'Souza: "Among the many ways of getting fitter, I would personally recommend dancing. I believe it is the best way of getting fit and healthy. It is not only effective but also extremely fun to do. It brings one a lot of happiness and joy, thereby also improving one's mental well-being."
7. Do you dance every day? Is this how you beat stress?
Remo D'Souza: "Yes, I dance everyday and that is how I beat stress."
