With the Coronavirus quarantine having confined everyone in their houses, cultivating a hobby is of highest importance, now more than ever. Not only does a recreational activity keep you productive and occupied, it also does a great deal for your mental health. Bollywood celebrities have embraced the down time with open arms and kept themselves busy with hobbies of their choice. A popular one amongst them seems to be painting. Celebrities like Tara Sutaria, Salman Khan, Janhvi Kapoor and more are going wild with colour and showing their creative expression by putting charcoal to canvas.
Tara Sutaria published a beautiful picture on her Instagram profile. It was of a women's face with feathered eyebrows, lush lashes, a full pout and a bindi in the centre of her forehead. Tara called it "the product of finding my old paper and charcoal" and aren't we glad she found it! But she is far from the only one who is painting up a storm.
Salman Khan is known to be quite the artist who keeps his talents under wraps. As the lockdown has possibly left him with plenty of time, the star recently showed us his quarantine handiwork as he deftly sketched an image of 2 women. Don't miss the expert technique of smudging with his fingers. A man of many talents, isn't he?
Janhvi Kapoor is also having a blast when painting but with more colour. With newspapers carefully placed around, Janhvi the artist got to work with paint pots and tubes and produced multiple works of abstract art. In a tie-dye t-shirt with spectacles, Janhvi is taking most pride in her pineapple painting, also with glasses.
Along with little sister Rysa, Ananya Panday let her creativity fly as was evident from the paints, posters and newspapers that the siblings had set up on the floor of their room.
Karan Singh Grover, popular as the TV character Mr. Bajaj and Bipasha Basu's husband, also happens to be a budding artist in his spare time. While he hosts artistic sessions and his paintings are spotted in plush lobbies, we're sure Karan is painting away the quarantine blues these days.Comments
