The recent NMAAC celebrations hosted by the Ambanis in Mumbai were a hit across the world. Fashion lovers got their fill with incredible Indian couture on the red carpet. Culture vultures finally found their spot to soak in art and drama. Even star spotters found their calling with the best of, not just Bollywood, but also Hollywood celebrities in attendance. And Mumbai paparazzi covering the event made sure it was a meme-fest that will go down in history. Being the Bollywood capital of the country; both, stars and photographers in Mumbai are ingrained in the celebrity culture of the city. So it's not uncommon to hear them call out to celebrities by name (or even a pet name they've fondly created for them) at events so that they strike a pose that's worthy of becoming the next day's cover photos. With the likes of Gigi Hadid, Emma Chamberlain, Karlie Kloss and more on ground in Mumbai, the attendees may have been slightly unfamiliar for the paparazzi. So you've got to forgive them for any mispronunciations or prompts they called the stars who came all the way from the other hemisphere.

Tom Holland was spotted right from the time he arrived at the airport. While photographers even shortened his name to "Tommy", they also proved they were Spiderman fans when they called him "Tom Homecoming." His beau, Hollywood star Zendaya on the other hand, had a name that was more tricky to wrap the mind around and got called "Jhendaaya".
While Gigi Hadid was initially mistaken for Shakira, she was also fondly called "Gigi Didi".
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra are more frequent visitors compared to the other Hollywood celebrities, so the paps calling him "Nickwa" was possibly just out of affection. In Bollywood, Aditya Roy Kapoor was called "Ananya Madam" as he is rumoured to be dating the actress and Vicky Kaushal was questioned with "Bhabhi kaha hai?".
