Social media may have been created to connect people but there's a lot more that has come out of it. One of them is trends, especially when it comes to fashion and beauty. TikTok as well as Instagram are home to trends by celebrities and influencers that end up gaining a tidal wave of approval from followers. Recently on TikTok, it's the Good Apple Foundation Balm from KVD Beauty that has gone viral. There's absolutely no beauty lover who can stop talking about the new foundation from the tattoo-inspired vegan beauty brand. It only took a couple of days to happen.
Influencers from TikTok and Instagram, who were lucky enough to get their hands on the Good Apple Foundation Balm before it went out of stock, have showcased its powers through beauty videos. Houston-based makeup artist Rose Siard from @roseandben posted an 8-hour wear test of the product. After applying it with the rest of her makeup, Rose takes us through her day (showing us the time at each point) and points out how it fares at every period. While the foundation applied easily and only required a small amount for the full face, by 8pm it looked as fresh as ever with minimal oil showing through.

The hybrid product falls somewhere between a foundation and balm; featuring the pigmentation of makeup with the texture of skin care. It also has sodium hyaluronate and apple extract in its formula, which is possibly where it gets its name from. Another highlight of the Good Apple Foundation Balm is how incredible its coverage is. You don't need our words to tell you that, the video does it even better. Its swatches have enough coverage to cover tattoos and don't budge a inch, no wonder people are obsessed!
What really seals the deal is the amazing shade range on offer. KVD Beauty went ahead and created it in a whopping 40 shades in deep, tan, medium and light colour categories. If there's anywhere that you'll find your perfect shade from, it's definitely here.
