The saree needs no introduction in the Bollywood of today. From award shows to airports, celebrities wear it everywhere. While Rekha frequents it in silk avatars and Shilpa Shetty gives it her own quirky twist, one star who always owns it is Kangana Ranaut. Now, Kangana's edgy style is a cut above the rest in the celebrity fashion circuit. From her boo-chic off-duty outfits to crisp blazers that mean business, she always manages to hit it out of the ballpark when it comes to stepping out fashionably. And that is true for traditional looks as well. Sarees have a special place in Kangana Ranaut's heart and she knows how to make them look extraordinary.
A recent look is proof of that. The actress attended a summit as one of the country's firebrands in the field of entertainment. And Kangana, being herself, did due diligence to the event by dressing like the style queen she is. For the event, Kangana wore a Sabyasachi ensemble consisting of an orange floral print blouse with a Chinese collar and a black and white polka-dotted saree worn with a black belt with a gold tiger buckle. In addition, Kangana wore a crown braid across her head and finished off the look with peachy cheeks, coral lips and and light eye makeup.

What separates this saree look from any other is its marvellous print mixing. You may fear that the bright florals and dark polka prints will clash garishly, but the large flowers with the tiny dots actually contrast wonderfully. Pulling it together is Sabyasachi's trademark tiger belt in a muted black. Kangana also played the accessories smartly with large earrings and braid, which lent Frida Kahlo-esque with a desi twist vibes.
Kangana also wore an embroidered chiffon saree over the weekend - light as air, its perfect for summer.

Kangana Ranaut is no newbie when it comes to styling the saree. She has previously paired her with loafers for mobility at the airport and even, long-sleeved blouses and chokers. It's great to see her uplift the saree and can't wait to see what more tricks she has got up her sleeve.
