If there is one thing that Ranveer Singh has always made headlines for, apart from his solid acting skills, it is his fashion sense. We have seen him wear everything from a skirt to PJs to the quirkiest prints - but it is never enough and it never gets old. And why should it? Sometimes, even when his looks are bad, they are so bad that they are good. And if there is one thing that is in need of some revolutionising, it is men’s fashion in India. For years, men in India have approached fashion cautiously and with limitations. Thanks to designers, stylists, and celebrities like Ranveer, that fact is now changing - hopefully, for good.
But was Ranveer Singh always this radical with what he wore? In an interview to IANS, the actor opened up about his fashion sojourns back in the day.

"I remember in school too, I was called ‘atrangi’ (extraordinary) because of my Mohawk, ear piercings, baggy jeans. I have always been this way. But over time, I have been in situations where I have had the chance to reflect. I now no more worry about being judged or influenced by others'' opinions. I have started making choices that are authentic, especially when it comes to fashion," the actor said.

"In my first two years, I did not make very honest choices when it came to my fashion sensibilities. I was still in the process of figuring out who I was and that reflected in my fashion choices. In my early days, the concept of appreciation and criticism was new to me,” he added.
In 2015, for the GQ Best Dressed Awards, the actor showed up like this.
Cut to this year in January, when he showed up like this for the Jio Filmfare Awards, making us wonder if anything had changed at all. Unless, of course, you count the fact that Ranveer’s fashion choices became even more eccentric.

In the middle of these two looks, there were a lot of other very memorable outfits that Ranveer donned. This was him mickey-ing around for the H&M store launch in Delhi, in 2015.
In 2016, his fashion picks got a little less loud and more stylish.
Although there was always something that stood out in the outfit, his choice of suits and clothes sobered down a notch.
That was until this happened.
And then there was this epic look, which certified the fact Ranveer can wear and rock anything and everything.
Even a skirt.
Or a suit printed with a montage of posters of classic Indian films.
Ranveer’s style is so versatile and he knows where to wear what, something that is very essential for every man to know. Even if the actor goes overboard, he knows just where to do it. And for those who are wondering, he can rock a casual attire too. Well, casual in his own way, of course.
Or even the bare-chest look, one of our favourites for sure.
One thing is for sure: no matter how far Ranveer will go, he will always stand out in a crowd - especially with his quirky, radical but always stunning clothing choices.
