The celebrity sphere is laced with body positivity but Chrissy Teigen simply exudes it. The author and model hasn't ever shied away from celebrating the female form; often using her own body as a shining example. Recently, she took to Instagram to post a picture of herself in a strapless black cutout swimsuit on the seashore. She captioned it, "Never had a waist, what a waste, right click SpongeBob, copy paste (drake caption)", which poked fun of her straight body frame which the internet has previously criticised as lacking shape. Commentors responded joyfully to her post with captions like "You're literally perfect" and "you're absolutely gorgeous with a perfect body". There are many reasons to adore Teigen, the main one being how she isn't afraid to get in a laugh, even when it's about herself.
Back in 2020, Chrissy posted a video of herself showcasing a black swimsuit in the mirror. With a deep plunging neckline and sleeveless silhouette, she chatted through the video. Negative comments flowed. One user said that she was "shaped like SpongeBob". Yet another stated that she was "built like a rectangle."

However, Chrissy handled the criticism with grace. She responded to a few comments, saying "It's ok I've been a rectangle my whole life and it's gotten me pretty far" as well as "Everyone used to....surgically enhanced curves. I've been a square my whole life and let me tell you, it's paid off nicely in many ways!" Leave it to Chrissy to tell it exactly as it is.Comments
