The fourth season of Netflix's much-loved Never Have I Ever premiered on June 8. The Indian-American teen drama has been bagging love from all quarters. Ahead of the release of the teen drama, the OTT giant hosted a premiere party in Los Angeles, which was attended by its entire cast and honestly, they had a blast. Never Have I Ever creator Mindy Kaling, who skipped the event, dropped a clip from the party. In the video, Poorna Jagannathan and Ranjita Chakravarty, who play the roles of mother and grandmother in the series, were seen dancing their hearts out. Grasping all the spotlight, Ranjita aka Patti stole the show on the dance floor. Netflix even commented on the video, "the coolest matriarchs in existence."
Apart from their super classy moves, what caught our attention was the fact that the two co-stars were twinning in all-black. For the event, Poorna Jagannathan placed her faith in Gaurav Gupta's hands, and the couturier dressed her in an all-black two-piece set. The outfit featured a crop top with a mock neckline and an asymmetrical skirt. Ranjita Chakravarty, on the other hand, decked up in a black saree with gold work. While sharing the video, Mindy Kaling wrote in the caption, “I've watched this one million times so I thought something this joyous needed to be on the grid. Ranjita Chakravarty and Poorna Jagannathan I love you! PS. Can someone make this a meme or gif at least?”
The Never Have I Ever premiere party was nothing short of a starry affair. It was a huge success, as its entire cast including Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Darren Barnet, Jaren Lewinson, Ramona Young, Richa Moorjani and Lee Rodriguez and more, attended the event in style. Leading lady Maitreyi dropped a series of pictures from the event. We could also spot a group picture, wherein Maitreyi posed with the entire cast.
Decked in a gorgeous golden gown, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan looked like a princess. The red carpet-worthy outfit featured a strapless corset-style bustier with a ball gown-style flowy hem. She paired it all with a dazzling necklace and left her side-parted curled hair open. Season four of Never Have I Ever, serves as the show's last. It has been three seasons since we first met Devi Vishwakumar, and with the release of this one, fans are surely up for last-minute twists.Comments
