No one, literally no one, will disagree that Sonam Kapoor is the OG fashionista. But did you know she has got all those sensibilities from her mother, Sunita Kapoor? A bunch of throwback pictures, shared by the actress on Mother's Day, stands testament to the statement. In one of the snaps from the photo dump, Sunita Kapoor is adorably looking at little Sonam. A cute picture indeed. But, we couldn't help but notice Sunita Kapoor's uber-cool and chic style. She was dressed up in a striped shirt. The chic silhouette was accessorised with diamond studs and a pair of sunglasses. Glossy pink lips were one of the highlights of her glam picks.
We have often got glimpses of Sunita Kapoor's 80s style. Courtesy: Sonam Kapoor's throwback uploads. Weeks ago, on the occasion of her mother's birthday, Sonam uploaded a string of pictures along with an adorable note. Sunita made a strong case for pastel numbers in this blush pink half-sleeve kurta and grey pants. She sided with small hoop earrings for accessories and secured her tresses in a pony. Minimal glam with tinted lips was a thing back in the 80s as well. On the other hand, little Sonam wore red dungarees with a yellow top underneath. Her pigtails looked super cute.

Oversized T-shirts are the new cool thing in the fashion world. But, Sunita Kapoor did it long back. She decided to twin with her husband Anil Kapoor. While Sunita wore an oversized white T-shirt, Anil picked a crisp white shirt tucked in denims. Sunglasses were a common accessory for the couple, but Sunita also included diamond studs and bangles to her street-style fashion. Her short tresses suited the look well.
We don't really mind some ethnic drama, do we? Sunita Kapoor looked graceful as ever in this full-sleeve black anarkali kurta. The closed round neckline of the ensemble was adorned with a heavy statement necklace, which came with matching studs. She wrapped a dusky red dupatta with a wide grey border and golden detailing around it. Her glam picks included black smokey eyes, mauve lips, blushed cheeks, well-done brows and a black bindi to round it off. A bun-like hairdo looked stunning.
What are your thoughts on Sunita Kapoor's style statement?
